Türkon is produced from high quality Egyptian cotton with gassed and/or mercerized long staple. Long staple of gassed cotton and the gassing process provide high strength and good robustness. Mercerizing gives to thread process its glow and aptness for absorbing dye, making it ideal for post dye garments. Lubrication during production minimizes friction and provides comfortable sewing performance. It can be used in applications where natural appearance and strength are required. It has excellent needle heat resistance and static resistance.
With count numbers 60, 40, 24, 20 and 16, in stock serviced in gassed raw white, raw mercerized, half bleached mercerized, and white mercerized.
While half bleached is recommended to be used in light color products, it is recommended to use gassed and mercerized cotton for medium and dark colors shades.
Piece dyeing is often the preferred method to shorten lead times and reduce costs. This method is applied in low-volume orders, as the delivery of colored materials is difficult and costly.
